Things to do with coins

I was visiting [livejournal.com profile] jiapa in New York over Thanksgiving weekend. While there, we found, in the Bryant Park holiday shops, some gorgeous jewelry. An artist has enameled coins and turned them into cufflinks and pendants. A shop, Trinity Diamonds, in Bryant Park is selling the jewelry for him.

WARNING: The Trinity Diamonds website doesn't work worth a damn in Firefox; it works passably well in IE. The site is also slow. Click on any picture and be patient; the picture will show up. The wait is worth it.

EDIT: The shop has a number of cufflink sets that are not on the page. Ones I specifically remember are a set of Canadian pennies with the leaves in autumn colors, and a set of Lewis and Clark keelboat nickels (scroll down) in many colors.

Glad to hear my post was useful. I'm very surprised to see it as the top hit in Google.
