xeger quoted some lyrics that I thought were from a song on Free to Be You and Me. I went to look up whether the song I was thinking of (not the one quoted, as it turns out) and discovered the cornucopia of talent that went into making Free to Be. Diana Ross, Mel Brooks, Harry Belafonte, Carol Channing, many more. I should get a copy of this album...
And the mud lyrics I was thinking of? Written by a soil scientist, and recorded on a completely different album, that is apparently no longer in print.
