SoundExchange is not even trying
Jul. 13th, 2007 10:52 amSoundExchange, for whatever reason, claims that it cannot find these artists to pay them performance royalties. Never mind that a simple Google search on many of these names comes up with the band's web site (complete with contact information) as the first hit.
I've sent email to a number of the bands I recognized (or just searched on) in the list. So far:
SoundExchange is also the set of bozos who have set punishing royalty rates for webcasters. Help save Internet radio and call your Senators and Represenatative today to prevent those rates from going into effect on 7/15.
