Today, my wife and I filed for divorce. For those who I've talked to about this, thank you for helping me get this far. For those who I hadn't, my apologies; it's not something I particularly liked talking about.

If things go as scheduled, we'll have a hearing in about a month, become formally divorced in two months, and irrevocably divorced in five months.

To echo what I said on IRC, I'm sorry that things worked out this way, and I hope that the change will bring improvements and peace to both of your lives. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask.

I am sorry to hear that. I hope you and Eri are each dealing with the process all right; it is not a pleasant experience even when amicable, but I am sure the friends you need for support will be there if you ask. Take care.

*hugs*
If you want to talk about it, or not talk about it, I'm here.
I'm thinking of you and wishing you peace and happiness.

I wish I had something useful to say - I don't. But if you need a distraction I know a group of people ready to put off their usual work and play games for hours and hours and hours...

Whoa, apparently I am very very very behind on the boston gossip. (Or you've done a very good job of making this not grist for the gossip mill in which case congratulations.)

My best wishes to both of you: may this be as quick and painless as these things ever can be. :/
