Today, my wife and I filed for divorce. For those who I've talked to about this, thank you for helping me get this far. For those who I hadn't, my apologies; it's not something I particularly liked talking about.

If things go as scheduled, we'll have a hearing in about a month, become formally divorced in two months, and irrevocably divorced in five months.

Thanks. The best we can hope for is improvements & peace; my main hope is that we'll both end up in a better situation than the rather dismal one we're in now.
